Since its introduction more than fifteen years ago, Knock at a Star has established itself as a classic anthology of poetry for children. X. J. and Dorothy Kennedy engaged the reader in a conversation about how and why poetry works. Now the Kennedys have taken a new look at the original anthology and have freshened it by adding some poems, deleting others, and making further comments.
