Wow this read was an extremely quick read or maybe after 837 pages it just felt fast. Great nonetheless so easy and smooth to read. Loved the characters and storyline another Malazan novel that creates an amazing world to lose yourself in 😝😋 (even with his worn cover)

I am now moving on to the next book in the series of Malazan 📖😝 excuse the poor book (that‘s the way I received it from ThriftBooks it‘s the first book I ever received like that but I believe it just needs a little love and tinder care 😍)

wanderinglynn 😲 I would say that book is not even “acceptable” condition as it looks like it‘s been chewed on the corner. I would contact Thriftbooks & tell them. They‘re usually pretty good at responding. 6y
Ddzmini @wanderinglynn yes I know and my husband said the same thing but you know that movie “Page Master it‘s like the ‘Horror‘ book you have to love him 😋 6y

Gotta sit in the car and do a lot of waiting today so woo reading this again so I can read the next one again like crazy. There's one specific spot in the next book that has thrown me for a complete loop and I feel like I should know automatically who Koro released at the base of the tower but ugh who?!

DuckOfDoom So these book are as good as the original 10? I will start with reading The Bonehunters today or tomorrow 😊 6y
mahasoor I find these books to be a lot easier to digest than Erikson's stuff. I love the main series to death, but I think Esslemont is a little more accessible if what you're looking for is something enjoyable you can read in a day. But I read the main series first and so ICE's stuff is more supplemental for me, I guess. On the Malazan fb group, reactions are mixed but I think these books are fantastic. @DuckOfDoom 6y
mahasoor Also omg enjoy bonehunters!! 6y
Ddzmini And another to my tbr list 🤣 6y

love it. I'm so psyched to learn about these two and their origins story. now I have to wait impatiently for the rest. ): this is a great book guys. even if you're not a Malazan fan to start with, this is an ok standalone book to get going on.

I am so obsessed with the Malazan books, you guys have no idea. Please finish this trilogy so I can know everything about Cotillion and Kellanved's origins!
