This is very tropey, but would probably work for a teen for whom those tropes have not become wearisome. The protagonists are 5 stereotypes—the nerd, the jock, the goth, the popular girl, and the skater dude. They go on the field trip from hell to a house/museum built by a weird demonic guy. Separated from their class, the teens (who all have secrets, of course!) are forced to battle their way through each room to win their freedom. Some humor!

Entertaining read. The characters were typical high school stereotypes that come together to beat a demon house.
