The upside to a few jars not sealing is you get to have soup sooner rather than later! Tortellini chicken is soup on the menu for dinner. 😋

RowReads1 It looks delicious 1y
Blueberry I've been planning to can some soup also. How do you do with the Tattler lids? I'm approving. I have gone from about 30% success to 75%. 😆 1y
Tamra @Blueberry yes it‘s a learning curve! 😉 It‘s hit & miss. Sometimes I have one or two, e.g. in 2 batches of broth I had 3 that didn‘t seal. I‘ve figured out you need to tighten the bands far more than the instructions indicate. I tighten as if for regular lids and then back off about a quarter turn. If the food is something that cannot be reprocessed without comprising the texture, I use the Ball lids! 1y

Blueberry I've found better success when the kids stay warm until screwing on. 1y

Trying to decide on a soup for my cookbook club on Monday. Everything sounds so good! Definitely the spinach and sun-dried tomato scones as a side.

9999 A cookbook club sounds amazing! 5y
LibrarianChels @sskk It is amazing! We meet once a month for a potluck using recipes from the selected book. It‘s called Bogota‘s Test Kitchen and hosted at my library. 5y

It's cloudy and cool here in #RVA, so soup and grilled cheese is sounding good! #booksandfood
