After watching the bombs explode in front of her at the Boston Marathon finish line, Jennifer was painfully aware how mere seconds mattered between life and death. It was then that she understood how God is both the God of eternity as well as the God of our moments. Life can feel like a race with twists, turns, uphill climbs, downward descents, and long stretches of highway. From the big explosion days to the monotonous and quiet ones, the stories of endurance, faith and trust will inspire you to press on and never give up as you run the race of life.

This was my shortest read of 2017. The author is a very dear personal friend of mine. She was literally seconds away from being in the direct path of the Boston Marathon bombing at the finish line, was spared by just moments. Her stories of faith will inspire you.
