Pickpick

Aside from constantly being distracted by the male cover model‘s Howard Wolowitzish haircut I enjoyed this older Sandra Brown. Hawk was a precursor to the wonderful heroes Ms. Brown would later write in her romantic mystery/suspense books, though at times he was almost too mean to the heroine. The heroine is spunky and likable, with a son who was cute without being precocious. The resolution at the end was a little rushed, but very satisfying.

Nebklvr I thought of Howard immediately. 😂 2mo

I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it (some I‘ve had so long I don‘t even remember why!). Feel free to join in!

It‘s been 10+ years of thrifting for Sandra Brown‘s older romances. I reached a point where I was getting bust after bust on finds. In January, I ordered the remaining 15 and they finally all came in today! I‘m sad the journey is over but I‘ve been looking forward to reading these!!
