After seeing Jack Black portray R.L. Stine in the Goosebumps film, I kept wondering what the real author was like. So I found this little gem. Great read for writers of all ages. It was fun to learn how this creative class clown wound up writing 330 novels that thrilled kids around the world. Plus it's an entertaining middle grade novel for the #readharder challenge.

This autobiography is sure to inspire aspiring young authors. Stine tells his story with warmth and humor and even shares some examples of "magazines" he wrote as a child.
