1 post | 2 read | 2 to read
Fascism is notoriously hard to define. In the new edition of this Very Short Introduction, Kevin Passmore unravels the paradoxes of one of the most important phenomena in the modern world, to make sense of its ideology and place in the modern world.

Another very short introduction- the takeaway is that fascism is difficult to define and there are competing schools of thought advocating a specific set of criteria. Passmore does not approach the subject this way, but instead focuses on the groups who called themselves fascist and how they viewed their own movements and how their rivals used the term. I‘m eventually going to end up with 300 of these little Oxford intro books.
