This fictional book by Anna Dewdney is a great first book for kindergarten students who are learning to rhyme. We are in for a huge surprise on Easter morning when Llama llama comes across something new during the egg hunt. UDL 3.1 allows children to activate or supply background knowledge while EL 7 shows them how to use graphic organizers for various activities. #UCFLAE3414SuB18

prissy.mooney www.teacherspayteachers.com/product/llama-llama-Easter-egg-toddler-curriculum-3716995 has printable sheets for children to trace, color, glue to get into the spring festivities. Use this to expand into further books regarding springtime. 6y
prissy.mooney I would look into other books that discuss the typical weather patterns during springtime as well as the lifecycle of birds. I‘d also encourage the students to share any springtime traditions they might have with their families. 6y
Gabylaurel10 This seems like a really cute fun book to read! I also really like the activity you chose!! 6y
DrSpalding The llama llama books are excellent addition to your classroom library for primary students. 6y

It's been a good minute since I dyed eggs with my girls. When they were babies I did baskets for their first waster then stopped since my middle daughter can't eat anything with milk I don't do candy baskets but this year she asked can we dye eggs. She bought with her own money the basket the dye and the paper grass I supplied the eggs and jelly beans. She is excited bc she did this herself with minimal help
