Gorgeous cover! Moving read that deals with issues like growing up and wanting to leave home, poverty/wealth inequality, and the lengths people will go to for the hope of a better life. It didn't end exactly the way I thought it was going to, which is a good thing!

Am reading this backlist Medina novel and loving it. I didn't realize the immigrant storyline was a big part and the touch of magic is great.
