When the Wait Gets Too Heavy
When the Wait Gets Too Heavy | Lawrence Greg Chretien, Jr.
1 post | 1 read
James "J.D." Dixon, Jr. is a party promoter who comes from a privileged background. Although he was given many of the tools to success, he chooses to forge his own path through life. Unfortunately, he finds himself up against many self-inflicted obstacles in his relationships, his finances and his business ventures. He reluctantly falls in love with an exotic dancer, Shante "Sunshine" Alexander who tries to steer him in the right direction, but even after the birth of their child and Shante's death, he still feels the need to do things his way. It takes the police and the diary of his deceased girlfriend to help him finally realize that he has waited long enough to change the way he has been living and the weight of the burdens that he carried was much too heavy for any one person to bare. When The Wait Gets Too Heavy was written to entertain while exposing some of the common mental barriers that one may consider before giving their life to the Lord. So if you have reached a point where you feel like you have exhausted all your efforts and depleted all of your resources and the life that you are living seems to be weighing you down, give God a try.
