I really wanted to like this, due to the print being big and me seriously wanting a good PNR series. But I just can not like it. It‘s a me thing, not the book. I think it‘s the kidnapping early on that kind of did me in.

LiseWorks So you won't be continuing with the series I gather? 2y
Darklunarose @LiseWorks no I‘m afraid:( I was talking to my nearly 18 yr old and she also didn‘t enjoy this one (we both love PNR) 2y

Mehso-so

The first book in this series feels like it was written by a teenager, a little naive, and immature. However, some of the ideas are extremely intriguing and the characters and their dynamics keep you wanting more. This first book is short, and if you can make it through - I promise the the next book gets immensely better! I found the main character very relatable, and her empathy to be multidimensional and inspiring! This series is worth a shot!

Got the new Kindle and I haven't put it down! I'm on my 5th book for the week 🤷‍♀️ no more migraines and I can be as antisocial as I want - 10/10 would recommend haha:)

Just started A Shade of Vampire and already I'm 50/50 on it. So much good - so much bad. Will I make it through?
