This is my first time reading Ida B. Wells despite having known of her brilliance before. Southern Horrors is incredibly interesting when looked at as history, and details a great deal of information about reports from the time. It is also easy to see how it would have benefited people of the time, especially as it notes her ideas about ways to change lynch laws.

Once again, Serial Reader has been a godsend in finishing the classics.

A short read but reveals some of the horrors of the south during the times of lynching. What was striking, is that I drew parallels to today. We haven‘t evolved as much as we would like to boast. #tiredofbigotry
