Pickpick

The next installment of the Scot Harvath series was action packed. Scot is tasked with taking down a terrorist network, that he has discovered has a plot against America. This novel is pretty brutal. I only read it in short stints, which made it hard to follow the intricate terrorist plot, and probably took away from some of the action. Maybe would have rated it higher had I read it for longer stretches. ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Current situation. We are enjoying unusually beautiful weather for early November this week. Near 70 degrees, lots of sun. Took advantage yesterday with a 4 mile hike with a BFF, and again today with a 5.25 mile hike with 2 BFFs. Now I‘m resting my legs and enjoying my book and coffee. #booksandcoffee #gorgeousweather #outdoorreading ❤️📚☕️☀️

Was hoping to finish this one before the end of the month, but that‘s not going to happen. 🤷‍♀️ After helping my oldest out today, as he Directs one of the biggest film shoots of his college career (hired actors, Covid safety officer, craft services - the whole nine yards), I‘m finally sitting down to read. The shoot was entirely outdoors, and while I didn‘t have to be out there the whole time, it is chilly! These two are helping me thaw. ❤️📚

Nute Good luck to your son! Sounds very exciting and demanding of hard work, but what an accomplishment it shall one day be for him.👍🏽😃 3y
Elizabeth2 @Nute thank you!! You are right on all counts. Definitely worth it in the end. I believe they wrapped their filming today. I‘ll be sure to share the final film link in a non-book post when they‘ve finished editing & post production. 😊 I am so proud of him! 3y
Nute I‘m looking forward to that final film link. Can‘t wait to show support of an artist and a college project! 3y
Elizabeth2 @Nute thank you SO much!! ❤️ 3y

Reading the 9th book in the Scot Harvath series next. The last book, #8, wasn‘t as good, so I am hoping this one redeems the series for me. ❤️📚 This would be my last square for a #bookspinbingo! Hoping to squeeze this book in before the end of October!
