?????5/5 stars

Genuine Sweet was a 200+ page read that went by so fast. @Kaylamburson , you're right about the character/title ?, it was a little bit TOO cheesy.

I thought it was such a cute little story about magic. I loved the message though, it is about how you shouldn't just make a wish to "poof" away your problems. Sometimes the magic comes from friends, family, and neighbors, lending each other a kind helping hand.

Kaylamburson Aww that sounds adorable!! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, even if the title character name was super cheesy, hahaha. 7y

I picked this up at Half Price Books last week because of its #gorgeouscover 😍
The main character on the cover looks like me when I was younger. It should be a quick read, but a whimsical one. 💫

Genuine Sweet can grant any wish, except her own. New friends help take her gift global and life finally turns around. But when Genuine is faced with unexpected trouble wishing cant fix, she must stop wishing for a better life and start building one.

Kaylamburson Sounds adorable, @HiddenGemBooks! Although I'm not sure I'm a fan of the recent trend where characters are given obscure names that match the tone of the book just for the sake of creating a catchy title. "Genuine Sweet", "Looking for Alaska", "Nearly Gone", "Polarity in Motion", etc. 7y
