Long Day's Journey Into War: December 7, 1941
Long Day's Journey Into War: December 7, 1941 | Stanley Weintraub
2 posts | 1 read | 1 to read
From Pearl Harbor to the Russian front lines outside Moscow, Stanley Weintraub has woven the events of the 20th century's most momentous day into a monumental, hour-by-hour chronicle of an entire world at war. This is brilliant, gripping history--as overwhelming as the fateful weekend it puts into global perspective.

Great detailed hour-by-hour account of world events surrounding Pearl Harbor attack in 1941. Took me quite a while to gradually read but worth it.

I've been slowly reading this one at odd times. I picked it up at Weller's Bookworks store at Trolley Square in SLC last Winter or Fall. I'm about 1/4 of the way in. A good War history.
