This book was good but dragged really hard towards the latter half. The author also jumped from person to person AND from time to time and that was difficult and frustrating. This was a Canadian edition and the French was not translated in the text, so I had a hard time with that. I learned a lot about Athénaïs and she seems like a very impressive lady with really shitty children. Also made me much less impressed with the Sun King. 3/5 stars
