#biblebuddyread @BookBabe Currently working my way through Proverbs. This is one of my favourite books. If you listen to David Suchet reading it, it can be mind blowing.

BookBabe One of my favorite books of the Bible too. 🙌🏻 Where can I find him reading it? 2y
quirkyreader You can purchase a copy of him reading the NIV on Olive Tree or listen to it on YouTube. 2y

Here is a breakdown of different translations of the Old Testament. #Biblebuddyread @BookBabe

BookBabe 😮 2y
cwarnier I find this chart interesting. I never realized that the Roman Catholics and the Lutherans had such different listing of the OT. I mean I knew they had the apocrypha, but then not to have the other books, or to have them in a slightly different order, who knew? 2y

#Biblebuddyread. I finished Psalms and now I‘m onto Job. And yes, the Book order of the Old Testament in the Orthodox Bible is different that the standard Bible. @BookBabe

BookBabe What a great bookmark! I love that Scripture. 💚 2y
BookBabe Different book order…interesting, I wonder why 2y
BookBabe Do you like reading Job? It‘s always painful for me. Made me feel very sad the last time. I personally would rather not go through the pain even if it means twice the blessing later on. 2y
quirkyreader @BookBabe Each time I read Job I get something different from it. A lot of it also depends on what stage or season you are in your life. 2y

BookBabe 😃 Do you have favorites? 2y
quirkyreader It‘s Psalm 23 hands down. It tells you not to be afraid because the Lord will always be with you. 2y

#Biblebuddyread @BookBabe and now it‘s time for Tobit. Something interesting I came across my reading today. During my morning devotional my lesson was Urim and Thummim and lo and behold it shows up in Nehemiah 8:65.

The yearly reread of the Bible started on Thanksgiving. I usually start the reread around Advent.

Kimzey Do you read the same or different translations each year? 2y
quirkyreader @Kimzey Every year it‘s a different translation. 2y
Kimzey @quirkyreader That sounds like a great approach! 2y
BookBabe Yay! Love this! 🙌🏻 2y
