It was boring. The characters are very immature and childish. A lot of telling and not showing. The big reveal was predictable for me. ⭐️⭐️

A mix of family drama and thriller, when a middle age woman‘s adopted father passes away it begins a series of events that unlocks her very dark childhood. I enjoyed this, though I would have preferred to stay in Sally‘s POV throughout. There is a second POV which answers many questions and it was well written, I just wanted more of Sally‘s journey. 4⭐️

I can't lie to myself anymore. I have a cold 😭

My children are with their dad so it's me and these babies and bed, I guess. I'm trying Cabin 10 after reading about the millionth review of it on Litsy this morning - I really hope I like it!

I have all of this author‘s books, but I‘ve only read this one! Have you read her others? Which ones were your favorites?

MaleficentBookDragon I‘ve read most of them. I‘m a little behind on the recent ones. This one is one of my favorites. 1d
Eggs I read/liked It Girl, One by One, Turn of the Key, Lying Game, In a Dark Dark Wood, Death of Mrs Westaway ~ Lying Game was my least favorite 1d
marleed I discovered this author 3 books in, have kept up with her releases and read the two earlier books. I don‘t believe I‘ve given any of her books my 5⭐️ rating, I‘ve liked some of her works considerably more than others, but always have fun reading them. I think your posting and the tagged may be my favs! 15h

A very entertaining mystery about a cozy mystery author who becomes the key to unlocking the mystery of a missing couple. Very entertaining and not terribly dark with lots of twists and turns. A good summer read! 4⭐️

Mr. Bell will again treat readers to a gripping, page-turning thriller.

Connor finally had a book published. He needed this publication to save his tenure at the university.

The only problem is that the book is one written by a former student who has gone missing and was never found.

Mr. Bell simply has a way of creating books that have exceptionally real and unique, pulse-pounding story lines.

Today‘s Prompt: CABIN

A storm is brewing outside and inside of the luxurious weekend cabin.

Is everyone who they say they are?

Is everyone telling the truth?

This book was actually confusing, not at all a favorite, and one I was not anxious to get back to.

Too many things were going on, and there were too many unlikable characters.
