Paul McCartney: A Life | Peter Ames Carlin

Sick again (or still?) so taking a slow day today. Been listening to Paul McCartney‘s underrated 2005 solo album, Chaos and Creation in the Backyard. Highlights for me are Friends to Go, Promise to You Girl, and the haunting Riding to Vanity Fair:

TieDyeDude Thanks for the recommendation! 3mo
TieDyeDude Our local independent radio station is big on the Beatles and played “Fine Line“ a lot when it was released. I hadn't listened to the rest before. I like “Too Much Rain“ and “Riding to Vanity Fair“. 3mo
CSeydel @TieDyeDude Oh, nice! I do like Fine Line as the album opener, but yeah Riding to Vanity Fair is probably my favorite. Too Much Rain is beautiful also. 3mo
