Pickpick

Aww this was such a cute story and yes you could predict the ending but I loved it so much. The plot is simple but effective and focuses on more than just the romance between the leads. We see their emails through the story which I really liked and it gave a more modern feel to the book. The ending was so good and i love how it all came together. Amy is great, she develops as a character so much, learning how to find her happiness. 5* #Netgalley

Pickpick

Very soft pick.
Amy has settled in a job that she really doesn't enjoy because her musical dream was dashed two years before by a disastrous attack of nerves. She receives a missent email and is able to track down the intended recipient, who happens to be on an expedition in Antarctica. What begins as a simple email exchange develops into a friendship which in turn leads them both to move forward with their individual dreams. But there's also 🔻

robinb some conflict added in as far as honesty and trust are concerned.
This story was just an average read for me. It was sweet, and I liked the message of "be brave", believe in yourself and step out of your comfort zone, but I also found it lacking in depth and not very different from other "email relationship" books that I've read. While I did learn some about Amy's background, I finished the story not really feeling like I knew much about ?

robinb Cameron.
So overall, well-written with some sweet characters (including co-stars), but just not a lot of originality or spark for me. 3/5⭐️
