Freya has avoided her antique mentor for 20 years, since she believes he helped kill her love in Egypt at that time. When her mentor Arthur is found dead, and she receives a letter from him telling her to where to find the unique bird he's looked for, she is pulled back into the career she was so good doing. If you like descriptions of antiques and a whodunit story, you will like this book. Between a 3 and 4 for me
This is between a pick and so so for me. It was a good mystery and I liked the antique aspect of it. Arthur, the man murdered, left clues for Freya and her Aunt Carol. Carol was a great character. I would suggest this to others for a good mystery.
Fun cozy murder mystery set in the world of antiques and fakes.
I listened to audio read by Emilia Fox and got a real kick out of the different character voices. Loved aunt Carol everyone needs a Carol in their life.
Antiques covered in great detail as the author is one of those Millers yes the Millers antique guide Millers!
This was a good casual read. Cozy and lighthearted. Great back and forth between the two main characters, a niece and aunt. They‘re trying to decipher clues about the death of their friend, whilst uncovering a dastardly scheme. 5 ⭐️
