The first three essays are stellar.

Loved the stories behind Seinfeld, Friends, & ER. Liusa Kudrow & a scheduling guru named Preston came off really well.

I liked this memoir about being neurotic about home ownership a bit more than her novel The Quality of Life Report.

Recommended by my 4 year old who loves the kindly truckers eating yummy breakfast foods in cool old diner. Illustrated by Melissa Twai.

Goodman writes smart characters and is on my auto-buy list after The Cookbook Collector, but I wasn't enraptured by the video game that brought the characters together. (I'm not a huge video game or fantasy fan.)

And I'm reading this slowly to gird myself for parenting teenage girls in a few years.

In the middle of this book which was adapted for Showtime. I've only seen Season 1, and so far characters are even more complex than on screen.

Currently reading one of my favorite series with the driest of dry Scandi detectives.
