This was...not that good? Has anyone else read this book? What did you think? (Am I missing something?!) 🙃🙃🙃

ImperfectCJ I read it in 2009, and according to the review I wrote on Goodreads I liked it, but I can't remember anything about the book at all, including a scene with doctors trying to get to Cambodia, which I apparently found "incredible." Usually reading back over my reviews triggers memories of the book, but I'm remembering nothing about this one. 4mo
Suet624 Yes, I liked it a lot. At the time I had not read a book like it before. 4mo

A good book to start with for understanding why we *all* need to be fighting against systemic racism and white supremacy (and also how we can start to do this). #socialjustice #antiracism

Do yourself a favor and read this book now! I couldn‘t put it down! And it actually had me thinking about science in a way I could understand. Curious to learn more! Thank you to Henrietta Lacks and her family for their contributions, that went without consent, compensation, or acknowledgement (for many many years).

A solid compilation of Coates‘ work with insightful introductions to each article. Really enjoyed reading the journey of the last eight years that marked a significant time in American political history.

I'm not sure about this one. I finished it quickly because I wanted to know which character was the most out of sorts. But I also didn't think it was unique, creative, or anything special.

This book is so beat up bc it traveled to/from work with me everyday for so long. But it was worth it! Salander, the main character, is unforgettable. This book isn't just about crime in general but against violence against women (this is the third book of the series).
