I was excited by the premise of this book and, like a lot of other reviewers have pointed out, it has some beautiful prose, but by the end I was really wanting to be done with it. The most interesting stories (the ones mentioned in the blurb) are the shortest ones and the longest ones are kind of dreadful.

I haven‘t been this excited by a non-fiction book since I was ten and my mom bought me The Ultimate Book About Cats. This book has already brought so much joy to my life and I‘ve only tried two recipes so far. I want to be best friends with Samin Nosrat.

Fake Deep: The Graphic Novel. I‘m sure this was interesting for someone but I thought it was a giant fart.
