This was a powerful story! This story is a character driven thriller! It is told in two perspectives, the mother and the daughter. Both of these characters have been through a lot of stuff together. Barry amazingly brings the past and present in both perspectives together. The character development was exceptional. The suspense in this story was remarkable! I never knew what was coming next and did not see that ending coming!
