I was truly expecting a happy ending. And then when it didn‘t happen it broke me. So much so I wanted to give a bad review. This book spoke in a new way (to me at least) about depression. I have been fortunate enough not to have dealt with this in my life. But the disinterest Theo‘s family had in him, really hit home for me.
