I Liked My Life | Abby Fabiaschi

Pickpick

I Liked My Life was a profoundly touching read for me. Abby Fabiaschi has a way of capturing the moment, but her tools are crafted words rather than photographic lenses. And, oh what moments. This one made me feel all the feels. I could relate to the characters and was amazed at their significant development over time. Bravo!

Moo | Sharon Creech
Pickpick

Moo is a quick and soothing read. I loved the playful fonts and formatting. The account of city kids coming to terms with what every farm kid knows was gentle and engaging. The formatting causes the pages to turn rapidly, which will appeal to my middle grade students.
