Micheal Vey is about a 15 year old kid named Micheal, who has electric powers. Him and his two friends Ostin Liss and Taylor Ridley discover that he is not the only one with powers. They also figure out something is hunting them. The genre of this book is science fiction. If you like books that are about people with powers or action books, you would like this.

#2”The compound” is a book about Eli Yanakakis, he has been living in an underground compound for 6 years, built by is father, who thinks there will be a nuclear attack. But unfortunately his Eli‘s twin brother and grandma didn‘t make it in. I think that this book is ok, hard to get in to for me. If you like books that are suspenseful you might like it.

This book is about a high school senior named Justyce McAllister, who deals with racism. At the beginning of the book him and his friend manny get stopped by an off duty police officer, the cop pulls a gun on him as he mistakes them for being suspects of a murder. The teens jumped the cop fired... If you like books that are more serious and deal with modern topics then you will like this book. The tone is serious and can be sad at some parts.
