panIf you don‘t mind super shallow and predictable then you might enjoy this book. I found the idea fascinating, writing wasn‘t bad but the whole message fell short for me. It is the equivalent of telling a depressed suicidal person to “appreciate what they have” as if it‘s so easy to pull yourself out. None of the messages/lives were new or impressive. Protagonist unlikable, the rest of the characters are like cardboard cutouts. #worstreads2020
