The You I've Never Known | Ellen Hopkins

Does anyone else have 5 or 6 different books going at the same time all the time? I frequently "book hop". I wanted to read something new, not in a series, and get away from the usual fantasy fiction that I've been reaching for. Ellen Hopkins is one of my favorite authors for YA and Adult fiction.

speljamr I always have 3-4 books going at one time. Sometimes I need a break from one and switch to something else. 5y

nibech @bookcollecter this one is good so far! I devoured the first 60 pages or so. What's cool about this one is the two main protagonists in the novel each have their own style; one is written in poetic verse (like most other Hopkins novels), and the other girl has hers written in prose. @speljamr that's exactly how I feel! I know I'm not the only person who book hops but it makes me feel like I'm entirely scatter-brained or something lol. 5y

nibech @bookcollecter only if there's something you wouldn't mind missing for a while! I'm a full time college student so reading time is hard to come by unless I'm on winter or summer break. 5y
