This is probably why I am SO confused as to what I actually want for my own damn hair. Everyone seems to think they get to decide and tell you how to wear it. I don‘t even know what‘s my idea and what‘s someone else‘s anymore.

Texreader This feels the same for folks with curly hair. I hated my curly hair growing up. It was massive and unmanageable until I found a decent hairstylist. But everyone tells curly haired people to just love it, and they are offended if you try to do something different, like its their hair! Then I had kids with crazy curly hair. They‘ve both embraced it brilliantly (better than I ever did). 4y
GingerAntics @Texreader that is such a good comparison. (God help me I have red hair and curly hair 😱) I feel like other people love it, but the people that actually know me feel like when it‘s curling nicely, it‘s messy. 🤷🏼♀️ Bloody double edged sword. 4y
