Get me something it seems I would like. My current interests include: narratively playful fiction; Australian fiction; Scandinavian fiction; narrative history, including of oddly specific subjects; diaries; readable reference books.

Do not feel bound by these categories. Extra points if the book is better known elsewhere than in the US.

Other advice/preferences

If everything is equal choose the one big book instead of three cheaper ones. Don't worry that more books means greater diversity of type and subject.
