The tagged book is a book of short stories,City of the Century is a history of the city that I‘ve read part of ,2 guidebooks & a medallion from the Chicago worlds fair 1933/1934.Cliff Dwellers I spent so much time tracking down yet still on my TBR .It was published in 1893 ,it is an early realist novel critical of Capitalism & questions living /working in skyscrapers & modern vices of city,set in Chicago.
