Super Powereds
Super Powereds: Year 3 | Drew Hayes
13 posts | 10 read | 6 to read
Junior year has come for the remaining students of Melbrook Hall, and it promises to be the most difficult one yet. With one of their own gone and another under serious investigation, none of the former Powereds knows how many days remain for them in the Hero Certification Program. The time they do have will be filled with more trials and classes, honing their skills as they work toward the increasingly difficult goal of becoming Heroes. Ample new challenges await them, and not all of them can be met on the safety of Lander's campus. Fallout from last year's final exam has stirred the interest of many parties, not all of them friendly. With enemies pressing in from all directions, it's going to take new alliances, dedication, and countless hours of training if they want to last another year.

Just finished the last book in this self-published Super Powereds series and it was so good! This was probably my favorite series since Happy Potter or The Hunger Games. The characters develop so much from year one to year four, and you get to root for their success every step of the way. I‘m so sad it‘s done! Each book is so long (this was 61 hours), but it read faster than some 8 hour books. Highly recommend!

Just finished year 3 of this series and it is branching out further from the safety of the super hero school, and we are being introduced to bad guys and forces outside of what we‘ve gotten used to in books 1 and 2. A bit slower than the first two books but still really well done and addictive. Especially for a 41 hour audiobook! We are learning more about Nick and other students families, so it‘s expanding the world in a positive direction.

Year 2 of the Super Powereds series was just as addicting as year 1! It‘s the longest audiobook I‘ve ever listened to at 32 hours, but it flew faster than some 6 hour audiobooks I‘ve listened to. I do feel like there were some chapters that were redundant or didn‘t push the storyline or character development along, but they were few and far between.

Such a great series! More of you should try this one out. If they ever make these into movies, it would make for fantastic entertainment. I just finished 'Year 2.' The heroes are another year older in this one, so it's getting even more interesting.
These are free on Kindle Unlimited. If you like Harry Potter, you'll most likely like this. (As long as you aren't going to be offended by cursing, sex, and underage drinking)

This series is probably my favorite since Harry Potter. Not nearly talked about and it should be. I love this series. Check it out!

This series is bananas—a bunch of superhero kids going to a secret college, training to fight super-powered criminals, finding trouble. Sound familiar? Yeah. Still: the characters are engrossing, the super-skills creative, good world-building, never wildly violent, a little #romantsy.. my favorite character is cynical Nick from Las Vegas whose super-power is ‘luck.‘ 4 books with some big surprises. #kindlelimited except the last of 4 (clever man!)
