Fly Me to the Moon
Fly Me to the Moon | Kylie Adams
1 post | 1 read
Fresh from jilting her latest groom, hand-picked by her Mafioso father, Sofia Cardinella stumbles across Frank Sinatra-wanna-be Ben Estes. Ben turns out to be as suave and seductive as Ol' Blue Eyes himself. Sofia senses they could make beautiful music together, aside from one tiny hitch: Daddy wants to have Ben killed.

Pickpick

Rollicking romp of fun! Ben, who idolizes Sinatra, talks like he's right out a 30's/40's screwball comedy, which incidentally are some of the best movies ever made. Calls Sofia baby and dame, his friends his pallies, and so on. Actually the whole book reads like a screwball comedy. Silly and over the top at times, but I was sorry to see it end.
