pickI adore Rose Tremain‘s novels. I can‘t recall how I first learned about her, but I have been reading her for many years. This one is set in the 1980s in a small French village. A cast of excellently drawn characters navigate their way through life. Perfection 👏😍🙏
Leni is reminding me of another grumpy old woman character that I am fond of. 😂
