A vision of the first decade of socialism in the US. The diverse multinational working class has achieved political supremacy and is actively eliminating bigotry, racism, and national oppression as it expands economic, social and political democracy. A genuine, popular democracy of the people, one where we are collectively engaged in the exciting work of transforming our energy, food and health care systems, rebuilding our housing and transportation infrastructures, and creating new practices of solidarity and forms of association is already possible. As socialist consciousness grows among the people, and as we strengthen and expand the organized struggle, we will make it a reality.
