When Josie bought an old green bottle at the op shop she was not aware that a lady Genie lived inside; green, short-tempered and quite vain. And, it turned out, more than a match for the nasty school principal who demanded a giant working bee - and got one, with the genie as rider! Ages 9 - 12 years.

A school principal that makes Miss Trunchbull look mild, a green bottle bought for .50c that contains a green genie who gleefully greens up the school and a no meat message that‘s delivered with absolutely no subtlety and lots of comedy in the form of unintended wishes being granted and the green bottle getting filled by unaware adults with all sorts of liquids much to the genies dismay. Started strong but it tapered off a bit.
