Winds of Courage | 
pickIt was a little slow to get going, but by the end I was really enjoying it. This is a spinoff from a previous series, but it can be read by itself. I enjoyed seeing some of the characters from the last series and getting to know them better in this one. It was a good start to the series and I really can't wait to read the next book.
