The characters were shallow versions (even more shallow than the original) Bonnie and Clyde. There were too many characters and not enough depth.

Chapter 2 notes:
☆Home Planet: Nakara
"He'd come for them all eventually-- every officer, every warden, every droid."
Just started the book:
"Shane had always thought killing would be harder, that it would take a certain king of person to wrap their hands around another's throat and squeeze until there was nothing left, but it had been over by the time the warden arrived, before the droids swarmed and the prisoners rioted. Killing was the easiest thing in the world. And Shane wasn't sorry."
Inspired by the story of Bonnie and Clyde, this book twisted it into something completely new and different. I enjoyed the book, but the ending felt incomplete. I don't know if there is going to be a sequel that tells the story of the other characters, but I hope so. The world building was good, I liked the setting and how it was done. The writing made the story go by quickly, but I definitely got drawn into the book.
