I LOVED this book! Middle school Kena would have 100% wanted to be like Aurora. Thank you random Reddit stranger for suggesting this title to me after I asked for book recommendations that were similar to the movie, “Real Genius.” Paula Danziger books capture the thoughts and feelings of tweens so well, even across different generations.

Happy birthday Paula Danziger (well, it's August the 18th in Australia at least). I read this in eighth grade and thought it so original and fun - you know that moment when your parents inform your family that you're all going to have to pack up and leave? This never happened to me, but it DOES happen to Aurora ... and the move is to the moon 😂
