What would you do if your first love turned up at your door out of the blue?

Although this was a book which kept my interest, there were no big surprises in the story line. Beth/Lizzie is a rather insipid MC, & although some of this is down to her agoraphobia, low self esteem, & guilt over what happened, she's far too weak when it comes to Tom. For the obvious plot & 'twist', I have to give this an average 3⭐
