Lumberjanes #3 | Grace Ellis, Noelle Stevenson

The girls have a lot more to worry about than crazy creatures and supernatural events...they have FIELD DAY. Its a competition between the Lumberjanes and the Genteel boy camp next door thats going to be filled with surprises!

While I still enjoyed this volume tremendously, it was definitely a little downhill from vol 1-2! The variety of narrators added a nice touch, but I disliked the style of the final narrator (who did 50-70% of this volume). I miss Brooke Allen! I was thrilled that Mal and Molly finally got a little alone time, but sadly, little character development occurred. I feel like most of this volume was "filler material".

Back in the house today for good ☮Relaxing with the Lumberjanes and a salad in front of the heater. No plans for the weekend unless I get extremely restless and just go out for a 2 liter of 7 up or something. It's even too cold for this quirky/Crazy Chicago girl to go back out there, lol. My mind is almost as exhausted as my body for once. Love yas Littens!! ❤❤Happy Friday!! Stay warm!! 🏡🏡 soooo sllllleeeeeppppyyyyy 😴😴😴😻

A Terrible Plan was fun and witty and a great continuation of the lumberjanes story.

Okay Littens - you've posted enough Lumberjanes for me to know I want to get in on that. Dumb (and yet serious) question: if I can only get volumes 3 and 4 at the library right now, do I go ahead? I'm usually a chronological order person so this is throwing me off 😀

itsbrb Just got the first one from my local library because of how much I've heard about it! Sorry can't give you more info on going out of order. Hope you enjoy! 8y
Mayread nooooooo!!!!!! Read chronologically! Jokes will cease to be as funny. Plus there's a MYSTERY. 8y
LauraBeth See - this is why I asked! Thanks @skiles. I'll put a hold on vol 1 and just wait. 8y

LauraBeth How do you like it @itsbrb? 8y
JPeterson I've only read the first few, but I would suggest to read chronologically. But listen to those who have read more! 8y
Nancethepants I'd read it in order. There's a mystery twist element that won't be as satisfying if you don't follow the narrative through. Soooo good! 8y
itsbrb @LauraBeth have about 20% of my audiobook and 15 pages of my physical book and then I plan on starting! 😊 I will let you know! 8y
LauraBeth Thanks @JPeterson and @Nancethepants - appreciate the fast feedback! 8y
LauraBeth I understand @itsbrb 😀 8y
[DELETED] 2232195534 Read in order. The characters grow and change. LOL 8y
aLmYbNeNr I agree - in order. 8y
Carol In order is best. Waiting is the hardest part! Hope it isn't as long a wait as it seems. 8y
Blair_Reads I couldn't wait so I read them backwards. I wish I had read in order but I enjoyed them all 8y
readinginthedark I think graphic novels are usually best read in order. They don't have as much room to explain things you've missed. 8y
