Don't let “self-help“ steer you away from this book. Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) is my favorite technique and Russ Harris is one of my favorite ACT authors. This book covers many different forms of grief, loss, crisis, and how to build self-compassion.

Very helpful tools that go against the grain of “typical“ forms of therapy.
