Unmastered: A Book on Desire, Most Difficult to Tell | Katherine Angel
1 post | 1 read
"An examination of the paradox at the core of female sexuality argues that public-life requirements often directly contrast with intimate desires, drawing on the author's academic studies to explore the oppositional aspects of dominance versus submission, liberation verses dependence and masculinity versus femininity."

Mehso-so

It's 5am and I'm still wide awake. I thought reading on my Kindle might help with the insomnia, but NOPE

This was a poetic essay about sexual desire and how it doesn't always gel harmoniously and conveniently with society's expectations and ideals. Katherine Angel explores the conflict between how she feels and how she thinks she should feel.

It was interesting, but I'd have liked it to go a lot deeper.

⭐⭐⭐ 3 stars

Goodnight! (Hopefully)
