1 post | 1 read
Whiskey Theorem is a collection of personal experiences and exploratory visions that Benjamin A. Browning (aka B. A. Hunter) has drank through, expressing them in the form of poetry, prose writing, and a couple short stories, with the addition of five collaboration prose poetry writings with five fellow artists from life. Love, love-lost, late night longing, passion, and many bottles of whiskey was harmed in the making and living of this book. While this book has graphic content of strong language, sexual themes, and struggles with alcohol. It is, however, a narrative to help show the beautiful destruction alcohol affects not only ourselves, but towards those around us. This book that has been in the works since 2014, but accounting on events that occurred all the way back in 1997, and it is now finally seeing the light of day. Whiskey Theorem is not meant to stop you from drinking, unless you so choose, but hopefully shed some light on its ravages. To many, it's just a beer, although to some it is an escape from the pain. Please, drink responsibly. Sit down with us grab a glass. There's enough bourbon for everyone.
