Gullivers Travels and A Modest Proposal | Jonathan Swift, Jeremy Paxman
Pickpick

I didn‘t know what to expect with this, but I was thoroughly entertained 😁 The writing style and language took me a few chapters to get used to, but once I got the hang of it, I liked it! Could‘ve been 50 pages shorter, but a delightful gem; 3.5/4 out of 5 stars

I‘m over a hundred pages into ‘Gulliver‘s Travels‘ and I realized I haven‘t posted a pic 😱 Since watching #greatamericanread I wanted to read this and I‘m really liking it 👍🏻 The language is different (written in the 1700‘s does that LOL) but very entertaining 💙💙💙

PenguinInFlight My dad and I read this together when I was a kid and I loved it. I need to reread it as an adult. ☺️ 6y
Aims42 @PenguinInFlight I‘m amazed and thrilled at the humor! I was totally expecting a stuffy story, but I‘ve chuckled so much at the wit of Jonathan Swift 😆 Definitely worthy of a re-read 6y

We're #allmadhere I wouldn't say Gulliver's Travels is the strangest book I've ever read but the Broken Earth books and Dogsbody, I only have in eBook and I like to take a original photos of my physical books. Also, I am always posting Gaiman and have posted quite a bit of David Mitchell as well. #novemberland @TizJ3ss
