Welcome to Litsy!

This book really drags, and ends without resolving a major plot point. I skipped at least 40% of it and don‘t feel I missed a thing. I liked that it‘s realistic about corruption in hospitals and is set in The Bay Area.
Layla returns home after a disastrous and viral break up and Sam is renting an office above her family‘s restaurant as he tries to bring his sister‘s abusive ex-husband to justice. 2/5 stars, finish the plot please!
