I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie | 
This is a fiction children's book that was published in 1997. It is about an old lady who is swallowing all these food and things at thanksgiving. She eventually eats so much that she becomes a ballon at the Macys parade. The students seemed to find it funny and we were able to do a fun sequencing project afterwords. I think this is a book for younger students and the older students might not find it entertaining as the younger ones.
